The Cancer Care Centre at MNR Hospital operates on a multidisciplinary model every new cancer diagnosis is discussed in a weekly Tumour Board meeting attended by medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and palliative care specialists. This ensures that each patient receives a comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plan rather than a siloed specialist opinion. We provide medical oncology services including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, hormone therapy, and immunotherapy infusion in a dedicated day-care oncology unit with trained oncology nurses. Our surgical oncology team performs cancer resections across multiple sites including breast, colorectal, gastric, hepatic, and thyroid cancers.
Cancer care extends far beyond treatment. Our oncology programme includes nutritional counselling, psychological support, palliative care integration from diagnosis, and a robust survivorship programme for patients who have completed treatment.
